Our approach will develop CCRs into models of collaborative research by promoting cooperation between Indonesian and U.S. universities as well as within and among Indonesian institutions. We will encourage research activities that involve scholars from different departments within these institutions, requiring that Indonesian scholars who take part in CCR activities conducted by U.S. universities – such as research methodology and writing workshops – replicate these activities for peers from other departments within their own institutions as a condition of participation, and monitoring CCRs for compliance with these expectations.
